On May 30, a round table for Ukrainian Ports: Maritime Security Agenda, as part of Ukrainian Ports Forum-2019, was held in Odesa. The event brought together international maritime security experts.
Experts noted a positive trend in the growth of security of Ukrainian ports and the condition of sea vessels. The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority confirmed the 100%compliance of seaports with international requirements for maritime security, and Sergey Gronsky, Deputy Head of the USPA for Maritime and Internal Security, noted that more than 90% of port facilities will be assessed in terms of security in 2019, which makes it possible to draw conclusions regarding the complianceofUkrainian ports and terminals with high international standards.
